Top 5 Beauty Products

Hey there! I hope everyone had a fun & safe (from Irene) weekend.

Since I love reading about other people's favorite beauty products, I thought I'd share my top 5 favs with you all =)

1. Purity
This is a facial cleanser by Philosophy and it is fabulous! It's so smooth on my skin and always removes my make-up. I wear a lot of eyeliner/mascara and I never have to use a separate eye make-up remover. It's definitely on the expensive side for a face wash, but it's great for my skin and saves me time.

2. Revlon Colorstay Foundation
This is a great foundation that's easy on my wallet. I've tried many other expensive foundations such as Makeup Forever, Estee Lauder, Nars, Clinique...but this one has been the best so far! I have very oily skin, so I love how it comes in two formulations- Combination/Oily or Normal/Dry. I have to admit, I would really like to try Laura Mercier's Silk Creme foundation, but I just can't justify spending almost $40 dollars for a small tube. So for now, I'm definitely happy with this.
3. Too Faced Natural Eye Palette
My best friend Abby gave this to me for Christmas last year and I am so happy she did! The eye shadows on this palette are very high quality with great pigmentation. I barely have to run my brush over the shadow to pick up the color. Since there are 9 shades, it's very easy to create many different looks. I use it almost every day and my eye looks are always changing!
4. Clarisonic Mia
Ok, so I kind of splurged on this one. Buttttt, I waited until I had a 20% off coupon, free shipping and a QVC gift card. This lovely little device is around $150. I know, I know - that sounds crazy. But after reading so many wonderful reviews on this thing, I just HAD to try it. And I must say, I have no regrets! I use it on my face twice a day, morning & night, with my Purity cleanser. Not only does it make my face feel incredibly smooth, but it improves the look of my foundation/blush and allows my skin products to absorb easier. Overall - definitely worth the money.
5. St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse
I absolutely love being tan, but a few years ago, my dad developed skin cancer on his face. It was removed and he's fine now, but I've been terrified to go tanning ever since. Fortunately, I discovered this product and now I don't have to look so pale! It is by far, the best self-tanner I've ever used. It never makes me look orange or splotchy and since it's a dark mousse, it "shows wear it goes." It's so easy to apply! I usually only use it in the summer, but it's still great to have on hand if I ever need a little extra color!
What are your favorite beauty products?? If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments - I'd love to hear about them! =)

I'm linking up with Jamie @ This Kind of Love for What I'm Loving Wednesday. I've always wanted to do this one!

I'm loving...that tomorrow is Thursday which means Josh comes home from his trip! And by trip, I mean job. He's gone each week for about 3-5 days depending on his schedule that month. I've actually been quite fortunate as a pilot wife because he's been getting weekends off consistently for about a year now. Unfortunately, that will probably go down the drain once he upgrades to Captain.

I'm loving...my ELF foundation brush. Have any of you heard of this make-up company? The products are extremely cheap, like really cheap ($1-$3 per item). The make-up is okay, but wow, I am totally impressed with using this brush to apply my liquid foundation. For only 3 bucks, you should try it out!

I'm loving...
that it's my mom's birthday & we went out to celebrate tonight! Happy Birthday, Mom

I'm loving...my blog design! Brea over at Utterly Chaotic Designs designed it for me and I LOVE it. If you're interested in a blog make-over, she does excellent work and her prices are fantastic. Thanks again Brea! I couldn't have asked for anything better =)

I'm loving...that I get to travel next week for work. I'll be going to DC with a co-worker for some training. I love going on work trips...we always have so much fun. Perhaps the whole sleeping in an extra 2 hours each morning might have something to do with it, too.

I'm loving...the cooler temperatures. I absolutely love summer, but surprisingly, I am so excited for fall. Apple cider, leather boots, sweaters, carving pumpkins...yes, please!!

And finally, I'm loving...the blogging world! I've only just started, but its so fun & I'm already making friends! Kelly over at Kelly Lately gave me a shout-out today on her blog. I was so shocked to see my name written on the screen, I had to do a double take.

Hope you guys are having a wonderful Wednesday!
With love,
